I am a studio potter who makes handmade functional pottery. It is important to me that I mix my own clay body and glazes. I believe that it gives my work more of a personal touch, and me a deeper understanding of the materials to make more informed work. I wheel throw and use slab construction to create my body of work. Altering my work with texture or manipulation of shape is something I do to create a more enjoyable unique experience. I electric fire my pottery to cone 5 (2350 degrees Fahrenheit). I enjoy making pieces that easily fit into people's homes and lives. My hope is that my pottery can fit easily in your house and make even the smallest moments of life more enjoyable.

The Studio
The Winter Studio
In the Winter time when the temperature drops below freezing, I move inside. To a cozy 15' x 7' room in the basement. It's quite a lovely little space, but because of my stature at (6' 7") I can't exactly stand up straight. Oh well, its above freezing.
In the late spring, with warmer temperatures, I move the studio out to the garage. This is a much bigger space and keeps the house less dusty!
